The Inter-American Convention on Extraterritorial Effectiveness of Foreign Judgments and Arbitral Awards grants complete validity to this judgment in the signatory countries of this OAS treaty. In some non-signatory countries, the judgment must be homologated by civil courts to be valid in their territory.
